Santa Claus is coming to Town!

A tradition with Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service brigades, located throughout Western Australia, is the annual Santa Lolly Run.


Our volunteers transport Santa around town in the brigade's fire truck so he can visit children in the lead up to Christmas Day and hand out lollies.


Please see below a list of brigades and the dates of when they will be driving Santa around your town.

 

Carnarvon Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service

Carnarvon's Santa Lolly Run will be held Sunday, 18 December.

Coolgardie Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service

On Sunday, 18 December residents of Coolgardie, please stand on your verges and get ready for the big man to throw some lollies!


After the Lolly Run you are welcome to join the crew at Coolgardie Safari Inn for a BBQ and some games.

Derby Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service


Santa will be hitting the streets of Derby Town on Saturday, 24 December for the annual emergency services lolly drop.


Commencing at 4.30pm from the Derby Youth Centre, emergency services crews will be heading down Loch Street before winding it's way through town.


 

Falcon Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service

Falcon Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service are holding their Santa Lolly Run on Sunday, 18 December.


The event will be kicking off at 10.00am until around midday. Watch out for the Grinch! The WA Police may be on the look out for him.

Gingin Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service

Santa is bringing fire trucks, ambulances, and Police cars to the streets of Gingin on Wednesday, 21 December at 4.30pm.

Karratha Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service

Karratha Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service's is already in full throttle with Santa visiting a different suburb every day at 4.00pm on weekends and 5.00pm on weekdays. Ending on 11 December in Bulgarra.

Kalgoorlie Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service

This weekend, an "Emergency Services Santa Run" will be taking place on Saturday and will include our vollies from Kalgoorlie Volunteer Fire & Rescue Service along with crews from @wa_police, St John Ambulance Kalgoorlie, Kalgoorlie/Boulder SES and Santa!

Moora Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service

Moora Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service will be taking Santa around town on Christmas Eve.

Mount Barker Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service

Mount Barker Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service are conducting their Santa Lolly Run early Christmas Day.

Pannawonica Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service

T'was the night before Christmas and all through the town the locals are waiting, for the truck to come round.


Big Red is coming, so line the streets, to carry back home, handfuls of sweets.


With Santa on board, you've waited all year, get ready for soaking, the lollies are here!


Vollies, police and nurses, to kick start the fun, get your water guns ready, for the Fire-ey's lolly run.


At 4pm, on the 14th Eve, be waiting for us, and you shall receive.


Our Emergency Services wish you festive good cheer, Merry Christmas to all and a happy New Year!

Port Hedland Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service

Get excited Port Hedland! The Port Hedland crew said Santa is super excited to be back and ready to deliver all your gifts on Christmas day!


Present drop dates are opening early this year to allow the elves extra time:


🎁 22 November - 6.00pm to 8.30pm

🎁 29 November - 6.00pm to 8.30pm

🎁 6 December - 6.00pm to 8.30pm

🎁 10 December -9.00am to 1.00pm

🎁 13 December - 6.0pm to 8.30pm

🎁 15 December - 9.00am to 1.00pm

🎁 16 December - 9.00am to 1.00pm

🎁 17 December - 9.00am to 1.00pm


Please bring down your wrapped gifts with a monetary donation of any amount as support to Port Hedland Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service. They are located on the corner of Anderson street and Coolinda street (please access the station via Anderson and look for the signs).


Port Hedland Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service will take down your details and ensure gifts are delivered on Christmas Day by Santa!


Our volunteers put so much love into this event to ensure we spread the Christmas cheer. However, they are limited to deliveries in West End, Cooke Point, Pretty Pool and Redbank.

Secret Harbour Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service

Secret Harbour Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service will be visiting four parks on Sunday, 18 December starting from 4.00pm at Ship Wreck Cove in Golden Bay.


At 4.30pm Santa will travel to Nottely Cresent Reserve and from there to Surf Drive Reserve at 5.00pm. Santa will finish at The Harbour playground (fondly known as Octopus Park ) around 5.30pm.

South Hedland Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service

On Sunday, 18 December South Hedland Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service's Santa Lolly Run will commence at 4.00pm from Koombana Park.


Santa will be visiting five different parks around town, finishing up at Murdoch Estate Park around 6.30pm.

Toodyay Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service

Toodyay Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service's lolly run is scheduled for Sunday, 18 December from 3.00pm. At 4.00pm join in the water fight and enjoy a sausage sizzle.

Wundowie Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service

Wundowie Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service, along with Wundowie Bushfire Brigade, St John's Ambulance and the WA Police will be joining forces to escort Santa on the lolly run during the afternoon of Christmas Eve, 24 December.

Yanchep Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service

On Saturday, 24 December Yanchep Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service's Santa Lolly Run will commence at 2.30pm at Park Tree Park, Yanchep.


Santa will be visiting twelve different parks around town and will finish at Kalbarri Park, Jindowie at round 6.10pm.
