About the event
Over the Easter weekend, the VFRS Association will be hosting Western Australia's biggest firefighting competition for the year.
The two-day festive event comprises of teams from all over Western Australia competing to take out the Champion Brigade titles in four divisions (dry work, operational, hose and reel and hose events), as well as Champion Firefighter and Best Female Firefighter Competitor.
Due to repairs required at the Gilbert Fraser location, this year the Firefighter Championships will be held at Bortolo Park in Greenfields (near Mandurah). The event will be set up on the Loden Road side of Bortolo Park.
The event is family friendly, open to the public and is free to attend.
The opening ceremony starts on Saturday at 8.40am. Please click here for further information about the progamme of events.
The track is located on the Lowden Road side of Bortolo Park:
- Travel along Mandurah Road and to turn into Murdoch Drive,Â
- Then left at the first roundabout into Bortolo Drive,Â
- Turn right at the next roundabout into Lowden Road.
