The Executive

Our Executive Committee

The Executive Committee team is made up of Fire and Rescue Services Volunteers from all over Western Australia. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience, and along with a strong and focused Executive Officer, they have strong leadership skills and contacts that can assist the Association in their goals.

Principles of our work

The main principles of the Association’s Executive Committee are:

• Our volunteers come first

• We work closely with DFES for the best support and training for our volunteers

• We all work in harmony with other agencies and services

• We actively promote our brigades and volunteers

• Help our brigades and volunteers to look after the community safely.

Our Experience

The Executive Committee meets face to face every three months to obtain a progress report on projects, to discuss any issues and to voice opinions and new ideas with the rest of the team. If you are a VFRS member and would like a topic raised, please speak with your Zone Representative (as listed below) or email the Executive Officer.
