About the event
The WAFES Conference provides Western Australian emergency service volunteers with an opportunity to network with colleagues, acquire new skills and knowledge, and participate in a range of workshops and presentations.
This year’s conference program will include the return of the Department of Fire and Emergency Service (DFES) facility tours and workshops on Friday, followed by the welcome sundowner at Burswood on Swan providing an opportunity to network and view the latest operational fleet.
The conference program on Saturday will include an official opening address, a stellar line-up of keynote speakers and panel discussion in the morning and a range of interesting concurrent sessions in the afternoon.
The WAFES Awards gala dinner will round out the weekend on Saturday evening at the Crown Ballroom to celebrate the incredible achievements of volunteers and staff.
