2026 HR Licence Scholarship Applications - Now Open!!

General Information

The Volunteer Fire and Rescue Services Association of WA gratefully

acknowledges the Women’s Religious Organisation for their generous

donation, which has made these scholarships possible. We are

confident that the recipients of these scholarships will continue to serve

their communities with dedication and contribute to the ongoing

improvement of their brigades.

Please note the following:

• Brigades can submit ONE application only.

• One scholarship will be awarded per VFRSA Zone: North West, Northern, Goldfields, Metropolitan, Central Wheatbelt, South West & Great Southern.

• The Association will provide $1500 per scholarship towards the HR Licence.

• Successful applicants are required to commit to a further 12 months of active member status once they receive their HR licence.

Applications close: 5pm 1st March 2026

Applications will be considered by a panel including the President (Tony Dodd), Executive Officer (Tim Sonsee) and relevant Zone Representative.
