The Volunteer Fire & Rescue Services Association of WA Inc is pleased to announce that we are partnering with CSBP Fertilisers as we continue to work to support our Volunteers right across Western Australia. The Partnership will see funding provided for 7 HR vehicle licence scholarships, 1 per VFRSAWA zone. These scholarships provide a VFRS volunteer with $1500 towards HR lessons and license, increasing Brigade capability through the provision of further truck drivers available to drive their Brigade’s allocated firetrucks. It is also a positive in that this HR scholarship provides the opportunities for our volunteers to obtain a transferrable employable skill when seeking employment.
The CSBP partnership is also assisting in funding the fuel costs for the VFRSAWA VFF1 vehicle which is generously sponsored and provided by PWR - Paull and Warner Resources . This also provides further provision for the Executive Office to travel into the regions and visit Brigades in person to provide further support to our regional Brigades. The partnership will also have provision to assist a wheatbelt Brigade with a project they are undertaking.
None of this sponsorship is possible without the incredible work of our volunteers. It is you who are our biggest brand, it is you as volunteers who constantly inspire and motivate us as an association to advocate for your resourcing, safety and welfare, and it is your stories that truly inspire our work and our partnerships.
