Youth Scholarship

Thanks to generous support from the Women's Religious Organisation, The Association is offering two scholarships to active youth volunteers, designed to support your professional development and enhance your brigade's capabilities.

​Some general information:

​What the Scholarship Includes:

• One ticket to the AFAC 2025 Conference

• $500 towards accommodation in Perth

• Please note: Travel to and from the conference is not included.

 

Key Requirements:

• Volunteer must be aged 18-25 years.

• There is no limit on the number of applications per brigade, but they must be signed off by a member of the officer group.

• Successful applicants must commit to a further 24 months of active member status after attending the conference.

 

Important Dates:

• Applications close: Monday, 28th July 2025

• Winners notified: Friday, 1st August 2025

• Please send your completed applications to admin@vfrs.asn.au.

• Applications will be carefully reviewed by a panel including President Tony Dodd and Executive Officer Tim Sonsee.

• We encourage all eligible volunteers to apply for this valuable opportunity!
